This yacht was built in 2003 at the yard in Haderslev, where X-Yachts has its headquarters. It was in the water for the first time in connection with the North Minolta Trim Cup on 4 May 2003. The yacht has a length of 10 m and a width of 3 m. It weighs 3 tonnes, excluding the crew. The mainsail is just over 32 m2. There are 620 X-99 yachts, all built on the basis of the One Design concept, i.e. the boats are identical.
